Family Rooms
The PUMP Act helps to ensure parents have the support and resources needed to breastfeed their children. By requiring safe and private spaces for the nursing parent, the PUMP Act helps eliminate some of the challenges that can hinder breastfeeding.
At the College, there are two designated Family Room locations available for employees and students to express milk:

Two locations are designated on campus and can be utilized by nursing parent to express milk or nurse their baby.

General Guidelines
- Rooms are utilized on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be mindful that others may need to use the room.
- Be sure to take all personal items with you when you leave.
For Employees Only: Prior to returning from a leave of absence, a Lactation Accommodation Request form must be completed by the employee requesting an accommodation for lactation break. Submit the form to Human Resources.
